Does my child need an email?
No. A parent or guardian creates the account. Learners use profiles within it.
How is my email verified?
We send you a link to open before you can use your account. Your child’s profiles stay under your account, without separate email addresses.
What happens to their information?
We don’t sell children’s information or use it for advertising. Service providers process the work needed to answer a question. Homework photos stay out of saved conversations. You can download or delete saved work from your family account. Read our privacy policy.
When might I get a check-in note?
If a message suggests serious distress, we may email you a brief note without quoting your child. If the message suggests harm at home, we avoid an automatic parent email and encourage help from an adult the learner feels safe with. These checks can miss things or be wrong; ClueStep isn’t an emergency service.
Can we use it occasionally?
Yes. Keep the free account and buy a 20-question pack for $2.99 when you need more. Packs don’t renew automatically.
Can I cancel the plan?
Yes, from your family account. You keep access through the period you paid for.
